Brian Heywood is the leader of a number of different bands playing in a range of
genres suitable for all kinds of events and functions.

MoonDance provides a truly unique ceilidh experience. Imagine the accessibility of traditional dance music
combined with power of rock and funk music. Unlike many ‘electric’ barn dance bands, the sound is
more than just an acoustic folk band grafted onto a pub-rock rhythm section. The music has been developed as
true fusion of the best of traditional and modern dance rhythms.

Based around a caller / player and a three piece rhythm section of guitar, bass and a small pecussion based drum kit and electronic percussion. The music has been developed as true fusion of the best of traditional and modern dance rhythms, in this case with more of a latin and world music feel. And we don't stop the music every five minutes, we keep a groove going to maintain the atmosphere to help the dancers during the walk-throughs. We regularly perform all over the country at Weddings, Birthday Parties, Corporate Events, Conferences, Product Launches, University Balls and Charity events as well as Festivals and Public Dances. The Hoedown Band is a very experienced hoedown / barn dance band as well as playing a range of classic country
songs for concert gigs. We have over two decades of experience in providing music for a wide range of corporate and
private functions.

Stencil provide an eclectic mix of pop, rock with a touch of country rock, all from the second half of last century, from both sides of the Atlantic. There are two line up options; a basic four piece with male vocals or we can add a female vocals to bring it up to a five piece.

The Barn Dance Band is ideal for a night's worth of kickin' up the sawdust with English and Scottish Ceilidh, Irish Ceili, Australian Bush Dance, Barn Dance and International dances for Weddings, Parties, Corporate Events and Burns' Nights. The band's caller and all round dance expert will guide the audience through the dances. Even reluctant dancers will find it hard to resist joining in and everyone can be part of the fun; there is something for all ages and abilities.
