Meet the Band

Brian can draw on a large pool of Australian and British musicians to provide ensembles ranging from a duo, trio or larger line-ups for festivals and situations where a bigger band is more appropriate, either for a concert or a Bush Dance (or both!)

Below you'll find details of some of the musicians that Brian works with...

Dawn Web (vocals) is our vivacious lead vocalist, Dawn can really bring out the 'heart & soul' of the music. As well as being the lead singer in several bands, Dawn has travelled extensively throughout the UK with musical theatre shows, performed in Old Time Music Hall, street theatre, pantomime, fringe theatre plays and has run her own theatre company both writing and directing shows. Peter Anderson (accordion, guitar, calling) has a long and varied musical career in Australia - including a stint with the world famous Bushwackers Band. He has also appeared on albums of many well known Australian artists including Ted Egan and Shane Howard. Peter is also Bluetongue’s dance caller and has toured extensively in S. E. Asia, Australia and Canada.
Siân Phillips (fiddle) is a fifth generation fiddle player with roots back to the chapel fiddlers of the Swansea Valleys. Her professional career has seen her perform at festivals, concerts, workshops and seminars throughout the UK, Europe and the USA. She has played with The Constitution Hillbillies, Heather Jones, Meic Stevens, Wild Welsh Women and Celtish. She currently plays with the Wild Green and the Quiet men as well as MoonDance. Jo May (percussion) She began her career working with orchestras such as the BBC Symphony Orchestra, and smaller groups.
